AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Two people were shot in Aurora overnight.
It happened outside at about midnight near Classics Event Center on South Peoria.
Aurora police say the gang unit will be heading the investigation into this shooting.
Officers went out on a shots fired call but found little going on. While they were out, someone approached them saying their friend had been shot.
Officers say there was a party at the center. Two men walked outside when a vehicle drove up and gunfire was exchanged.
Both of the men outside were shot, but should be okay.
No arrests have been made at this point.
