DENVER (CBS4) – Work crews are busy getting the stage set for Wednesday’s nationally televised presidential debate at the University of Denver.
A spokesperson for the commission on presidential debates says they targeted DU before it was clear Colorado would be a swing state.
“We are thrilled to be here, the university has done a great job. This is going to be a first-rate debate,” Peter Eyre with the Commission on Presidential Debates said.
Outside of the debate hall the Secret Service is also hard at work and barricades and fences are being constructed around campus.
