The high on Wednesday will be 71 degrees with temperatures dropping to about 57 degrees by 6 p.m. The warmest Halloween on record in Colorado was 1999 with 77 degrees. The second warmest Halloween was 2008 with 78 degrees. The coldest Halloweens on record in Colorado were 2002 with 19 degrees and 2003 with 30 degrees. The snowiest Halloween in Colorado was 1972 with eight inches of snow falling. The snow continued to fall the next day, too, about five and a half inches on Nov. 1. Since 1954, there has been a trace of snow falling on Halloween 10 times in Colorado.
